Im going to keep this in the range of being professional ….while working at IELC I became sick and stressed due to getting treatments done from the hospital and a consistency of children being brought into the building sick.My doctor wanted me to give work a break to make sure my baby is healthy.I was going to go on leave May 13, but who am I to not listen to the people who’s making sure my baby is healthy. Even before working at the center i had Covid and once working there i had caught the FLU and ended up in the ER. I am still getting over being sick even after leaving last wednesday. I gave 1000% working at this place . The owner didn’t shown no concern of me being sick or the health of my unborn child. From emailing the owner/director to texting her she has been ignoring me. Always on time, Always follower Protocol, also training staff because there wasn’t a clear of understanding of what need to be done.Being so dedicated while sick ,I only missed a day from being in the hospital. I feel very much used and very disappointed. It’s sad to say and we want people to support Black Owned Business. I know my worth I WILL NOT BE USED KNOWING IM A EXCELLENT WORKER!! Be aware of these jobs who think you went to higher education to be token advantage of you. Who lack communication, compassionate, understanding, leadership, consistency, drive and a care for their staff. There has been OTHERS but this one takes the cake!
