The provider posted the certificate of registration on the wall above her escape plan in the living room during the inspection. Now the certificate of registration can be easily seen and read by the parents of the child care children.

Findings: Upon inspection of the bathroom the Licensing Specialist observed an air freshener spray bottle on top of the toilet and a bottle of dog shampoo in the shower. Upon inspection of the room where the child care children nap the Licensing Specialist observed 2 bottles of rash ointment which were stored in a diaper storage bin. Upon inspection of the kitchen the Licensing Specialist observed that there was a junk drawer with multiple potentially harmful items such as matches, batteries, wood putty, screws, and a tube of silicone. Additionally, there were a pair of large scissors in a drawer to the right of the kitchen sink. All of the hazards in the napping room, bathroom, and kitchen were relocated and made inaccessible to the children in care during the inspection. Going forward please make sure all potentially harmful items are stored in a secure location to ensure the safety of the child care children.
