In terms of immunizations, it was found that NS did not have a HIB vaccination after one year of age and JB needs another MMR vaccination according to his age and the requirements for children enrolled in child care programs. Please notify the respective parents so they can arrange blood lead testing and immunizations with the children's physicians. Provide proof of children having received these.

Findings: During the inspection, it was found that drawers in the kitchen of the home do not have security latches. Therefore, large steak knives/butcher knives and prescription medication were accessible to children. During the inspection, the Provider moved these items from the lower drawers to a cabinet above her head and out of the reach of children. The non-compliance was corrected during the inspection, but the Provider is encouraged to utilize safety devices on cabinets and drawers.

Findings: Report stated provider had left to go to the bathroom and had left four children alone at the table and she was not aware of anybody watching the other children in the pool. Provider states they were there for swim lessons with the certified lifeguard. She did go to the bathroom and a 16 year old and another provider were watching her child care children. The 16 year old is not old enough to supervise the children and the other provider may have been able to watch them but provider is not aware of the number of children the other provider had and that would have only been one person. On August 30th, 2019 provider stated they were not at the pool for swim lessons but only for swimming.
