2021-02-12 Mandatory Review 13A.15.04.03B Open
Findings: At today's inspection, the provider reported to the Specialist that she delivered a child in July 2020. Also in 7/2020, the provider's other child was under the age of 2. This child has since turned 2 in 12/2020. The provider also had an infant child enrolled on 3/5/2020 who attends part-time. When this child was in care, the provider potentially would have had three infant children in care. Two of the infant children would have been the provider's children and then a day care child in care, all under the age of two. The provider was apologetic and stated she did not realize that she needed to report her infant child. The provider stated she understands the regulations regarding capacity and maintaining the required capacity as stipulated in this regulation. At this current time, the provider has one biological child under the age of two and one child enrolled under the age of two. This enrolled child turns two in February 2021. The provider's current registration stipulates that the provider is approved to care for 1 child under the age of two and her total capacity is set at 6. This noncompliance concern regarding capacity will be discussed with the Regional Manager.
