My child has been attending Beyond Babysitting for two years. Since the day she started, Ms. Brittni and Miss Rayvn made me and my child feel at home. I never worried when so dropped my daughter off. I always knew that she was in good hands. I also love that they are always doing something fun at the center. I would highly recommend.
If you are looking for a loving, caring childcare center in SW Philadelphia, Beyond Babysitting is amazing. My granddaughter has been a student at this center since it's opening. The environment is clean, inviting and the daily activities are amazing. Ms. Britti is an outstanding director who has a true passion for children. She thoroughly explained the in's and out's of the center during our initial walkthrough, answered any questions that we had and is always available for any concerns. The $20 monthly donation was not an issue, as you can see the donations are used directly in the center for activities, new toys and workbooks. We were also given ample notice to make the needed arrangements when hours changed due to the pandemic and were extremely grateful for the safety protocols and additional cleaning standards that were implemented to keep our granddaughter safe. If you are looking for a babysitter, this is not the place for you... if you are looking for a learning center where your child will thrive and grow, I highly recommend Beyond Babysitting Learning Center.
I have been with Miss Brittni since she opened her center. I absolutely love how her and her staff nurture and teach the children at her center. You can tell that children are her true passion! My daughter never wants to come home and all she talks about is Miss Rayvn and Miss Brittni. They are definitely more than average! They conduct parent teacher conferences, have open communication, and always have the parents involved. I highly recommend this center to any new mom in the west Philly area.
Beyond babysitting is a cute facility however, the owner is very money hungry and I feel as if she’s only really in the business for the money and not the children. On top of the tuition she requires a $20 donation each month towards supplies, each children tuition is $200 & up... why would that even be a thought to ask parents for more money especially when you DONT know anyone situation. Her hours are unreal 6:30-4:30, most parents get off at 5, that too was extra money each week. Her original hours were until 6/6:30, but because of “covid” she closes early. The only daycare I know that closes that early. Brittany (the owner) is very argumentative, if you have a concern about your child, paperwork etc it always turns into a back & fourth thing. My 5 month old only attended this facility for about 6 weeks. There were many red flags. There was one time Brittany had false nails on the length of a toothpick, your around kids all day and anything can happen. Everyday she commented on how I dressed MY child and would always look me up & down when I arrived. Every time I would pick my child up there was never a conversation about his day, it was always “hey” from her and the teacher aide. Just very unprofessional.
