Noncompliance Area: Cots were labeled with numbers but the facility did not have a corresponding name of a child attached to the numbers.

Correction Required: Individual, clean, age-appropriate rest equipment shall be provided for preschool, toddler and infant children as agreed between the parent and the operator. The rest equipment must be labeled with the child's name and used only by the named child while enrolled in the program.

Noncompliance Area: In the backyard, there was a panel on the back wall, that was rotting and had peeling paint.

Correction Required: Peeled or damaged paint or damaged plaster is not permitted on indoor or outdoor surfaces in the child care facility.

Description: Above-ground pool inaccessible

Noncompliance Area: During the initial inspection on 4/4/2025, it was observed that the provider had an above ground pool. From the patio door, certification representative walked out onto the deck and observed the deck partially built around the pool. There was also a gate to the right of the patio door and leads to the ground. It was observed that there were footholds around the pool. From the footholds to the top of the fence that surrounds the pool, there was only approximately 36 inches. The pool also measured less than 48 inches on all sides from the deck and from the ground. The slates on the fence above the pool had approximately 7 inches between them.

Correction Required: An aboveground swimming pool which is not in use must be made inaccessible to children in accordance with the swimming pool barrier guidelines of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.
