I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I don’t even know how I can start to express how much I love love love childrens lighthouse Waxhaw. It has been a sanity and life saver for me. My babyboy has been going there regularly since he was a tiny little infant. Their directors are so friendly and make you feel at home. They now have a new director, Tatyana, who is so welcoming and so friendly. The teachers are so sweet, so involved and so caring. Soon as my now 18 months old toddler gets to his classroom he hugs his teachers. That shows me how much he loves them. All his teachers are just great.

I was not the kind of mom that easily wanted to drop my baby at a daycare. But once I visited children’s lighthouse, all my anxiety was put to rest. They have cameras in the rooms so you can check on your little one online anytime anywhere once you register. They also give you a daily log showing what your little one has been up to all day. What they ate and how much, diaper changes and their mood that day.

They have a fantastic play area outside and a play gym (No boredom for the children at all). Trust me if you have a toddler, they would probably rather be at a cool place like this than stay home. The children are fed a great variety of meals so you don’t even have to pack anything. They have a structured program and teach a lot to the children.

I don’t have enough words to describe how happy I am with this daycare. It is just a God send and I highly recommend it. If any parent needs me to explain more, please feel free to email me at: [email protected]

While reviewing the eleven (11) staff files it was observed that on one staff medical, CI, that the date of the visit had been whited out and a new date had been written over the old date. I asked CI to come in and asked if she knew what the date had been altered. She stated that she did not and that she was unaware that the date had been altered to 03/06/2023. I asked her did she alter the date and she stated that she did not. I asked her if she had gone to the doctor on the date that was now listed, and she stated that she didn't know. I asked if she would mind calling the doctor and getting the date of the visit. She stated that she did not mind and then proceeded to call the doctor office and was provided several dates that she had been seen. The receptionist reported that she had been seen on 02/06/2023, 02/08/2023, 03/08/2023, and 05/26/2023. CI asked if they could resend the form to her she felt that there was as there was a copy in the file. When looking at the original document it looked as if the date was 05/26/2023; but official verification can only be made when the original document is resubmitted from the Physician's office. IC stated that she did not hand the document to any one person but placed it on the Administrator's desk area in the front foyer area. In most cases the provider’s direct number is included in their listing. When it is not, we list the number of the Child Care Licensing Program — you may call that number for more information, or search for the provider online.

Will ChildcareCenter pass a message on to a provider for me?

No. ChildcareCenter only provides information, so enrolment questions, tuition questions and job enquiries need to go to the provider directly using the contact details on their listing. We cannot forward them and we cannot share contact details a provider has not published.

I run a daycare — how do I correct or remove my listing?

Use suggest an update on your listing to correct any detail, or claim the listing to manage it yourself. If you have closed or no longer provide care, contact us and we will update the listing to show that.
