DO NOT admit your precious baby into this place. Last week, I took a tour of the daycare. First, I didn't like the smell when I first walked in. None of the other teachers were friendly or welcoming. The supervisor, Ms. Fry, tried to be friendly but I could tell it was fake because she wanted my money. I walked in to the baby room and there I saw a little girl who was supposed to substitute for the two teachers who WEREN'T there. I don't have any certifications to work at a daycare so I know that the little girl, who looked no older than 15, didn't either. I know the little girl probably didn't know CPR. I could tell that the little girl was just thrown into the baby room because they knew I was coming to visit. It was time to pay but something didn't sit right with me, and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. I couldn't yet put my finger on it. I needed more time to look for other daycares for my 7-month old baby but unfortunately, I couldn't find any. Desperate, I went back to the daycare and gave the supervisor my money. I was under the assumption that I had to pay $236 altogether, and I only had money in increments of 20 so I ended up giving $240 and told her to keep the $4. Turns out, I had to pay $241 but she made me go back to the car for $1 after I was generous enough to let her keep the change I thought I was going to have left over. Now with this snow we had over the weekend, they closed Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday, after calling a billion times, I finally received an answer and asked for a refund. The supervisor lies and says that they were open Tuesday so that I can only be reimbursed for Monday. My mother and I rode by Tuesday, and they were still closed. Apparently, there was a delay yesterday as well as today. My point is that these people do what they want. They close down and have delays with NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER. This is a serious incovenience for parents who have jobs. Furthermore, something in my gut wasn't right. I didn't want my child to attend this daycare with teachers and a supervisors who weren't welcoming and had a little girl who probably didn't know anything about watching babies, and in addition to that, you lie and say that the daycare was open when it wasn't? These are all of the things that tells me that these people are not reliable and also dirty. They just want your money. I am a first-time mother and my child has never had to attend daycare until now. All of these things are not making me feel at ease with this mom anxiety I am experiencing. I will be going back to get my money. Apparently, they need to see me face-to-face so that I can get a refund. I did not sign anything in writing stating that I would not be reimbursed. Thank the Lord up above that my mother saved me from having to take my baby boy to this "daycare". If I had the option of giving this place 0 stars, I would. From what I hear, they already have a track record of putting their hands on kids. As of now, all daycares in Winston-Salem and Kernersville do not have any openings. The fact that this one does says to me that YOU DO NOT WANT TO TAKE YOUR CHILD TO THIS PLACE. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND BEWARE! My child couldn't even make it in the door.
