In Space 1B, the diaper table was unlocked, and plastic diaper/wipe wrappers were accessible to children under two years of age, creating a potential choking hazard. On the playground currently used by children, the top of one section of the plastic fencing was observed to be cracked and sharp to the touch. This section of fencing is not accessible to children of preschool age, but can be reached by children of School Age. This section of fencing was covered during the visit with tape. Plastic weedblock was observed emerging from the ground in greater than three areas of the playground, presenting a potential tripping and/or choking hazard. Along the ramp leading from the building to the playground, one nail and one screw were observed protruding from the base of the ramp; each of these was hammered down to make them inaccessible to children during the visit. | |||

| All corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, any product which is under pressure in an aerosol dispenser, and any substance which may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not stored in a locked room or cabinet. In Space 1A, a small bottle of hand sanitizer labeled Keep Out of Reach of Children was observed on a keychain stored in an unlocked drawer less than five feet from the ground. This was placed greater than five feet from the ground during the visit. In the bathroom located in Space 1B, one can of aerosol room freshener was observed less than five feet from the ground and in unlocked storage. In Space 2 and in the First Aid kit on the vehicle that transports children, the First Aid Kits were observed to contain alcohol prep pads labeled Keep Out of Reach of Children with additional warnings. One drawer of a teacher’s desk was observed to be unlocked and contained an aerosol disinfectant spray and hydrocortisone cream. | |||
