Please reconsider taking your child to this facility. Alice, one of the morning teachers, yelled at my child for crying, telling her "Don't be stupid, of course your mommy will come back to get you. I am going home at the end of the day and she has to pick you up." We just moved to this area and my child had seperation anxiety the last two days. I was waiting outside the door to make sure she would stop crying - I wasn't able to hear my child crying through the metal doors, but I could hear Aloce yelling. Completely inappropriate and unacceptable behavior.
Then, when I called the main office, Rose, the director, told me that it was very unlike Alice to act like that and that she'd have to do an investigation - there were no other adults in the room, so Rose was essentially saying that it is my word against hers. They aren't going to reprimand this teacher or do further training for her or anything else - she's going to continue to be abusive to the children she is supposed to be caring for.
Please, take your child anywhere else!
Only a couple of the teachers are great, they do not challenge their children. Worst place to go.
Terrible place!! Director had no prior experience in preschool and did not even like children! Totally unorganized and the girl in charge of billing ripped clients off! Preschool manager, Rose didn't know a thing about child care or preschool either! DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS HERE!!!
