Tooney town has its ups and downs
.its true when they say you cant judge a book by its cover. You walk in,its a bright, colorful and beautiful center. Disney themed songs play all day and the building is secure and hidden which is a great thing. But the majority of the staff members remind me of middle school kids. When i had my tour of course everyone puts on a professional demeanor. But that last for less than a month once my two children were enrolled. Teachers argue back and forth while you drop your kids off, they never seem eager to greet the parents and say good morning, if they do say goodmorning it sounds painful for them to announce it. My sons teacher told me not to do random pop ups because it made it harder on her lol. Payments are due monthly or weekly. If i font pay my weekly payment by tuesday im stalked as if im on the fbi hit list.they always want to discuss issues while other parents are around instead of privately. And the most convienant one is...im a full time student and i have a commute to school. I get to the center at 7am and the staff is usually late
Yet they catch attitudes with me because they have to rush and get the room set up or so they can smoke their cigarrettes or drink their toyal farms 62 oz beverage.please go kindercare
Wonderful place. My children come home and tell me about their exciting day. Never had any problems. They are very professional.
I have never experienced a more family oriented center. My children are learning and happy. The teachers are warm and helpful. My boys have been at this center for 3yrs. We referred several families and they are happy as well. The curriculum is unbelievable. My son is reading above grade level and enjoys going to school. I have had a great experience with the owner. She loves the kids and provides a great work place for the staff. The owner is firm with the policies and maybe that is the issue that the other person had but everything that the owner does is for the safety of the children. The center has an open-door policy and I pop in from time to time and I never had a feeling that the owner was mean or unstable. It feels like home.
Tooney Town of Owings Mills is HORRIBLE!!! I considered enrolling my child & went to visit. They were very nice during the tour however when I returned the day my child was to start the owner (she has freckles & is light skinned) went from this nice sweet person to an absolute WITCH! she screamed at the children, she was unbelievably disrespectful to her staff- needless to say I made an excuse and left immediately!! This woman argued and yelled right in front of the children. Then, when someone new came in, suddenly she was sweet as pie OWINGS MILLS PARENTS STAY AWAY FROM THIS DAYCARE! Owner is mean, unprofessional and I would never, no matter how "cheap" they are, leave my child in the care of such an unstable woman! Instead I enrolled my child at KINDERCARE of Owings Mills and they are wonderful, and they are basically the same price (and they take vouchers for those single moms out there!)
