Not clean at ALL. In fact very unsanitary. Stains on children’s equipment, crumbs and staples all over floors in infant room. Fridge, cabinets and floors all dirty.
Seriously looks like it has not been thoroughly cleaned in a VERY, VERY long time. I clean my home daily and expect the same for anywhere that I will send my child outside of our home. Had high hopes for this place but couldn’t imagine leaving my child in a place like this. Seems very money hungry and way below standards for infant safety and care. Also several code violations for the owings mills pleasant dr location.
Creative article . I was enlightened by the specifics , Does someone know if I can access a sample a form form to use ?
This center is HORRIBLE! My son started at MSL when it was still My second home. He was injured during play and the teachers did not complete a incident report. They also had no knowledge of his accident which means nobody was paying attention to my child! The owners are money hungry and do not answer any calls unless it is related to money. The turnover rate is outrageous. Not a good company at all. KEEP SEARCHING!
I'm giving them a 3 only because my child has been there since infancy. I was happy then and had minimal to no complaints. However, at that time it was under different owners. I am not happy currently with this center. Some teachers their are wonderful; however, many are heard yelling and being very sarcastic to the children. They remain teaching yet have had MULTIPLE complaints. Figurative language and sarcasm isn't even developed in children until they are older so what you say they take literally! I have seen teachers single out students and scold them for their behavior. I have seen students crying for parents and being told to sit in a chair without being comforted. There are constant issues with their menu changing. The teachers need significant training on positive teaching methods and rewarding good behavior instead of yelling and scolding bad behavior. The teachers also should be expected to set an example of grammar, proper English, and correct spelling. One poor example of teaching- my child came home with a make a shape activity out of popsicle sticks. They were supposed to make a "square". They were given 2 long sticks and 2 short. Thats a RECTANGLE.
