| The center did not have developmentally appropriate equipment and materials accessible daily. There were not three different toys available to children in each activity areas for preschool age children or not enough toys for three children. In space 4, there were no block toys, no book/language toys, no manipulative toys and no art toys at all. During the visit, Mr. Burton and Ms. Cook added toys and equipment to correct all of the above activity centers. In space 6, there was only one item to play with in the book/language area. During the visit, Ms. Cook added two more items to the area, correcting the violation. | |||

There was a sandbox with metal hinges in the seating area which were very hot to the touch in the playground area. There was a blue rug with a large rip in it in space 4.
