Children were not adequately supervised at all times. Staff report that one teacher was asleep when she was supposed to be supervising a group of one- and two-year-old children during naptime. This was corrected when the directors and the teacher met and discussed the seriousness of supervision and safety with young children and the incident was documented. Staff report that this has not happened again and directors report they are monitoring the situation.

The Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma policy was not reviewed with new staff prior to providing care with children and/or a signed acknowledgement with all the required information was not maintained in the staff person's file. I observed receipt of the SBSAHT policy was dated after the hire date for two new employees.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Excellent caring staff and everyone is so pleasant!!! The children are well taken care of and taught well!!!
