We are a child development and learning center that provides high quality day care programs with before and after school care for infant through school-age children. We nurture your child's abilities and encourage their growth while providing the quality care you need. Per sanitation rule 15A NCAC 18A .2806 FOOD STORAGE AND PROTECTION (a) In child care centers, food shall be stored in approved, clean, tightly covered, storage containers once the original package is opened. Approved containers include resealable bags and other containers made of plastic or glass. Reusable containers that come in direct contact with food must be easy to clean, in good repair and intended for food storage. The open container of mashed potato flakes needed to be placed in air tight packaging following use.

Operator did not submit the original approved report to DCDEE within one week of the inspection visit on a form provided by the Division. Swings did not have surfacing that extends two times the length of the pivot point to the surface below beyond the external limits of the equipment. The two swing sets on the playground did not have ground cover from the pivot point (under the swing) or in the six foot forward or backward motion when used Observed mounded dirt and a deep hole from feet being dragged to stop the swing.

All stationary equipment, more than 18 inches high, was not installed over protective surfacing. All playground spaces with equipment with fall zones such as the rock climbing structure, climbing structures with slides did not have ground cover as per requirements.
