Findings: The complaint alleges a 5 year old was pulled out of a moon bounce by his leg by a center staff person which caused a rug burn injury on his knee then she spanked him twice while on a field trip on Friday, August 9th. The mother states she was not told about the incident until her son told her walking to the care when leaving. The mother allegedly went back into the center and the director told her she would find out what happened and call her back. The child went to his father's house for the weekend and a police report was filed. The owner sent an email to the licensing specialist on Sunday, August 11th, and followed up with a call on Monday, August 12th. The written incident report was received on August 12th. According to the incident report, the staff person admits to pulling the child and causing the scrape to his leg. The staff person was interviewed and stated the child was pushing another student on the moon bounce. The child threw a fit when she told him to stop so she reached in and pulled him out by one foot.
