One group consist of 1 staff member with a total of 7 children (3 preschoolers, 1 older toddler and 2 young toddlers). Another group consist of 2 staff members with 15 children (10 preschoolers, 3 young toddlers and 2 infants).

Correction Required: When children are grouped in mixed age levels, the age of the youngest child in the group determines the staff:child ratio and maximum group size in accordance with the requirements in 3270.51 (relating to similar age level).

Noncompliance Area: During compliant investigation, cert rep observed several electrical outlets throughout the facility did not contain protective receptacle covers. This facility serves children that are age five and younger.

Correction Required: Protective receptacle covers shall be placed in electrical outlets accessible to children 5 years of age or younger.
