Staff were instructed to immediately address all behaviors that can cause a health and safety concern such as running in small spaces, climbing on furniture that are not designated as gross motor play equipment. This violation was immediately followed up on when brought to our attention at our annual inspection. Police and procedures of obtaining photo identification of individuals that are not known to the employee were reviewed with staff members. This ID would need to match information on emergency contact form. Moving forward, children will only be released to a parent or individuals designated in writing by a parent, and identification will always be checked prior to releasing children to anyone.
