| Findings: Staff Without Background Check. There were concerns this provider was operating without a state daycare license and inadequate safety measures. The health department performed an investigation to determine licensing and background check requirements. Through an interview with the owner, it was determined that the provider cares for 6 children without a DHW background check. Resolution: The health department informed the provider that a completed background check clearance needs to be available for review when watching 4 or more children. At a follow-up investigation, the provider had a DHW background check available for the inspector to review. | |||
