At that time, it was observed that the smoke alarms installed at the facility were not approved by a testing laboratory recognized by OSHA to test and certify smoke alarms. The operator or designated staff person who is responsible for compliance with this chapter shall ensure the requirements in § 3290.95(a) are met.
