“The Hopi School Community will provide a safe, caring environment where learners acquire and apply skills which empower them to successfully function as inspired life-long learners in a changing society.” We believe that: Learning is a continuous process that involves the entire community. Producing life-long learners focuses on the whole child: academically, physically, emotionally and socially. The academic learning environment, based on Arizona State Standards, is designed to meet the needs of all students with the belief that all children can learn. Effective communication is essential to the success of our school environment and the whole education process. Education should be a child-centered process that provides meaningful opportunities for critical thinking, problem solving and, risk taking. The learning environment will provide a safe caring atmosphere, which allows for and respects individual differences. Technology is an integral component of instruction. All endeavors will provide integrated experiences that foster a life-long joy of learning.

Initial Comments: The following deficiencies were observed at the time of the Compliance Inspection conducted on 8/5/2025 and are subject to changes pending programmatic review. Please submit the Plan of Corrections via the LMS portal within 10 days of receipt of the Statement of Deficiencies. The Compliance Officer provided a paper copy of the Notice of Inspection Rights to the provider at the time of inspection. The Empower Self Assessment was emailed to the provider. The Emergency Disaster Contact Form was left with the provider on-site. The fingerprint clearance cards for 2 of 2 staff members were verified to be valid through the DPS website at the time of the inspection. The following was discussed but not limited to: 1). Ensuring the first aid kit has gallon size bags.

Initial Comments: The following deficiencies were observed during the compliance inspection conducted on 8/8/2024, and are subject to changes pending programmatic review. A complete inspection was conducted at this time. Please submit the Plan of Corrections via the LMS portal within 10 days of receipt of the Statement of Deficiencies. The fingerprint clearance cards for 4 of 4 staff members were verified to be valid through the DPS website at the time of the inspection.
