Description: Kid Connection serves elementary students in Newton-Conover, Hickory City, and Catawba County Schools. It offers an affordable, safe, convenient and accessible program with excellent care and supervision for children in grades K-6.
We are designed to meet your needs with before-school and after-school care, student holiday care and summer day camps.
All sites are licensed by the NC Division of Child Development and provide five-star quality care.
Our sites utilize school gyms, playgrounds, cafeterias, classrooms and libraries to provide an after school experience for your child that is staffed by mature, trained individuals. Our programs nurture fun and friendship with daily activities for the kids to enjoy. We also focus on nutrition by offering a healthy snack and fruit juice to each child daily.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

The facility is clean and safe but the counselors are TERRIBLE except for one that seems to really enjoy being with kids. The others are constantly yelling and frowning even when Parents are there. Kelsey should be fired she has no business being in charge of children! She yells and puts children in time out for stupid stuff. She has no clue and neither does the other young woman who is a group leader. Kid Connection needs to fire these girls and start over! The so called Director is ok but she needs to retire because she does not seem to like children either.
