Description: You have great hopes for your child and so do we! That is why Primrose Schools distinguishes itself by creating a safe and nurturing environment where children are happy and continually preparing for a bright tomorrow. We call our unique accredited curriculum Balanced Learning, blending the two leading philosophies of teaching children. One of those philosophies endorses a child-initiated approach, in which children are free to explore their individual interest with teacher support. The other places a greater emphasis on teacher direction, where an established curriculum leads children along a consistent learning path. Through Balanced Learning, we combine the best of both philosophies. We let the particular interests of each child serve as the springboard to healthy social, emotional, physical and academic development, while teachers guide them to self assurance and prepare them for lifelong academic and social success.

When three year old children and older were in care, the materials and equipment in the activity area was not in sufficient quantity to allow at least three children to use the area regardless of whether the children choose the same or different activities. In spaces #4, #6, and #9, I observed only two types of blocks available for the children to use. In space #10, I observed that there were not enough books accessible for the children to use. Blocks and books were added to the classrooms during my visit today. | |||

Aside from the lice outbreak and my personal opinions of this school.. My daughter stopped wanting to go there after a year. She fought me every morning to get dressed and begged me to stay home. Which I did as much as I could because of her unhappiness.. She clung to me when I dropped her off in the mornings.. At first I thought she was being a difficult 4 year old, just going through a phase. We parted ways with primrose and enrolled her into a new school and within 3 days of starting the new school not only does she go to bed easier with the excitement of waking up, but she willing gets dressed with ease, brushes her teeth and says how much she loves her new teacher. The curriculum at her new school is way more robust, leading me to think she got bored with primrose. So everything that happened with Primrose's lice issue for causing us to part ways, was a very big blessing in disguise for us.
Update 9/20/16:
It has been a week since we left primrose and they charged us 305.00 in tuition for this week. Our daughter isn't enrolled there anymore and they continue to charge us for services they are no longer providing. As a business owner, I feel it's common sense to stop ACH drafts as soon as you render services. But I guess that's common sense not everyone shares. Having money drafted from your acct for no reason is illegal. But majority of business owners know this already.
