I’ve NEVER done this on social media but I feel
Like other parents need to know.
For the PARENTS of children at Meadowdale off of Lake Joy! You may want to pop in unexpectedly! I did and found my child being-HOLLERED at (in his face while while changing his diaper out in front of everyone on the side wall) because he didn’t want to come in from outside. I walked up with the door closed and could hear her hollering at him thru the door. She was in my child’s face. My child was crying and breathing heavily of course and trembling all over when I picked him up. I reported to the front office and they claimed she’s been written up and has been made to go thru training. No other parents have been notified bc she claims I’m the only one that has ever had this problem. I’ve asked for the $100 registration fee back but not the $140 weekly fee. I’ve been told no. So now I’ve paid this facility $240 for 1 week of verbal abuse and humiliation for my 2 year old and now have to pay another registration fee to another facility because the teacher felt the need to verbal abuse and humiliate my child. he was able to be dis-enrolled that day with no complaints though instead of the 2 week notice. Not to mention when we get in the car in the mornings now he cries and begs not to go to school!! Yes the state will also be notified as well!!
I am sad to say that we have been using this daycare for about 3 years and have paid out over 19,000.00 dollars to them. While SOME of the teachers are great, we’ve had problems with others. While ownership is great, management is terrible. They lack structure and consistency. They have poor communication skills and have given different answers to the same question leaving many parents confused. Please look around before paying out your hard earned money to this particular MEADOWDALE. They seem to have become more concerned with money than the care of your child(ren). There have been too many mornings that I’ve dropped mine off and had to stand there with her crying for a little bit before a teacher would acknowledge or take action. It hasn’t always been this way but it’s gone down hill quite a bit.
