I have used this provider for less than 6 months

My son was in the day care program here for 4 months, at first it went great but around the third month he started hating going an around month 4 we found why.. My son has sensory issues which when we signed up they said was no problem they can accommodate his needs. But then the turn over rate was so high, his teacher called out more then anything an they would put 30 kids for one teacher. The staff isn't very friendly when they mess up an over charge you either. The front desk ladies just make you feel like your bugging them if you have any kind of questions about how your child is doing. The rooms are also never cleaned an by never I mean never not even vacuumed or wiped down. The kids bathroom was sticky an the smell of pee hits you an takes you out. They need to fire all the lazy ladies in the front area an get better more helpful ones. For this place being in a church they sure don't act very church like. If you love your kids even a little don't go here, there's a reason this is the only daycare in town with no waiting list an cheap..

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Let me just start by saying, I have no issue with the prek program itself. My son does great in there. Wonderful teachers. But the daycare part needs some help. My son had one bad day in his prek room and couldn’t be controlled in the class. Fine. Teacher called the office to come get him. Of course being 4 years old, he wasn’t compliant and didn’t want to go. The director had a hard time getting him down to the office to call me. Needless to say, he came home with his entire left shoulder blade covered in carpet burn! Director stated he did it to himself by pushing away from her on the ground with his feet multiple times.. (which doesn’t make sense because if he’s pushing away, he wouldn’t have had the level of carpet burns that he had gotten by his shirt being down) but when I asked my child directly what happened, he said she drug him across the floor. I never prompted him to answer with a choice... (ex. Did she drag you by your arm or leg, etc) he explicitly told me “she drug me by my legs & my shirt went up in the back”. Which makes total sense as to why the carpet burn was so bad. I’m sorry but there’s no way he received that carpet burn by him pushing himself away from her laying on the floor. And he certainly wouldn’t keep doing something that was hurting him. I’m not pleased with the direction of the center and I’m not pleased with the daycare classes itself. He never wanted to go to daycare during the summer. I would always drop him off kicking and screaming. I brushed it off thinking it was a change for him because he started daycare 2 months before he started prek. I was just trying to make the transition better by being with other kids that would be in his prek class. Lesson learned. Somethings going on up there and he won’t be back for summer care!! Ive instructed his prek teachers to directly call me with a problem they’re having with my child instead of calling administrators. If you want your child to go to prek there, it’s a good program. I would just suggest to have them call you instead of administration, if your child is having a bad day.

I used to work for this daycare. It is an excellent place! I was trained well and was given the opportunity to keep my certification in CPR and First Aid current. The directors are awesome and do everything they can to help children and parents feel comfortable. They pay their employees as much as other daycares in the area while keeping their prices reasonable. I would feel completely comfortable letting my children attend this daycare because I know they would be in the best hands possible.

I used to work at this daycare and I am not impressed with it all. If I had children I would never take them there. Their rooms are not clean and the teachers are not trained well. The directors are rude and treat their employee poorly. They don't train their employees the best they can and they are very under paid.
