The staff is very unprofessional when handling incidents that involve your child’s safety and well being, I trusted these individuals with the responsibility of caring for my son and to inform me of any incidents (he was 2, just recently turned 3) since he is unable to effectively communicate to me. When injuries did occur, I (the mother, who asked in person to be informed first) was always the last to know. They would continuously change their stories when being confronted by me, I just cannot believe I trusted this place. There is also something a little fishy about a place that doesn’t have an open door policy, I never once was able to see my child interact in the classroom setting…. pick up and drop off is handled at the door, when asked about this they brush it off as Covid procedures which is fine, I understand that, but at least send reports home DAILY and COMMUNICATE with the parents. Neither was done. I got a stack of papers once or twice a week and that was it. When turning in the official written letter for withdrawal the director was very unprofessional and just had a blank expression and didn’t even ask why we felt the way we did to rectify the situation. I will not be recommending childcare from TYLC to any friends or family!
