Corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, and products under pressure in an aerosol dispenser and any substance that may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not kept in locked storage when children were in care. In the kitchen, I observed air freshener stored on top of the refrigerator, vermin bait stored unlocked under the sink, a canister of disinfectant wipes stored in an unlocked kitchen cabinet and an empty dropper of eye drops stored in the refrigerator door. On the changing table, I observed Vaseline stored less than 5 feet high. During the visit, the air freshener, vermin bait and disinfectant wipes were removed from the kitchen and both the eyedrops and Vaseline were discarded. | |||
