Corrosive agents, pesticides, bleaches, detergents, cleansers, polishes, and products under pressure in an aerosol dispenser and any substance that may be hazardous to a child if ingested, inhaled, or handled were not kept in locked storage when children were in care. There were many cleaners under the bathroom sink with no lock of any sort. These were within reach of children. These were all moved to the upstairs area of the home during the visit.

The written schedule did not show blocks of time assigned to types of activities and/or include periods of time for both active play and quiet play or rest. There was no written schedule posted. Ms. Young posted this during the visit.

All records required shall be available during operating hours, for review by a representative of the Division. Ms. Young had paperwork for several children on file but was unable to find everything. She must get accurate records for each child.

Safe sleep policy and poster about safe sleep practices was not posted in a prominent place in the infant sleeping room or area where parents and caregivers are able to view daily. There was no sleep poster on the wall of the home; Ms. Young posted this during the visit.

The operator did not conduct a monthly fire drill. The last fire drill was recorded on May 6, 2022. Ms. Young must begin completing and recording fire drills on a monthly basis.
