Description: Childcare is an optional childcare service designed especially for the children of Henderson County Public Schools and their working parents. HCPS Childcare offers PSAM and PSPM in all 13 elementary schools. The programs operate on a self-sufficient basis. Fees are kept as low as possible to provide the necessary revenue to pay staff salaries and purchase supplies. Eligible students are Henderson County Public School students K-6th grade. The after school program is available to middle school students in the 6th grade. These students will be transported by school bus to the participating sites, which will need to be arranged through the after school director and principal of the middle school.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I absolutely love this program, and so do my children! The program provides outdoor time, indoor activities, help with their homework, and genuine love and care for the children. They do watch a movie on Fridays at the very end of the day, but the children are aloud to do other activities. They are not required to watch them. My children LOVE movie day! They also provide the children with a snack everyday. This program has been a life saver. My husband and I both work until after school is let out so we use this program often! As for the other comment, I have never had an experience when they closed for no reason.
My daughter has been in this program for 2 years and every experience I have with them is a negative one. The only reason she's there is because of lack of options. The people don't care at all, they look for reasons to close, all the kids do all day is watch tv.
