About the Provider

We are a faith based preschool offering a quality education for children 3-5 years. Our exceptional program emphasizes developmental enrichment through exploration. Our program will keenly develop your child's reading and math skills while stimulating their imagination through creative arts and dramatic play. We also offer Spanish instruction to all of our students as part of our curriculum. Our preschool has a large, fully equipped and fenced playground where our students engage in supervised play twice each day.

For our school age children, we provide a superior after-school program from 2:30-5:30. Macon County school buses drop off children at the preschool where they are greeted at the bus by our After-School Coordinator. Children will have an opportunity to complete their homework assignments while enjoying a snack and beverage. Assistance is provided when necessary. In addition to a wide range of games, arts, crafts and toys, children have an opportunity to play outside in our equipped and fenced playground.

Great Beginnings Lutheran Preschool maintains enhanced standards as defined by NC's Star Rated Program. Our student/teacher ratios are kept low to ensure quality interaction between teacher and child. Our staff is comprised of degreed educators dedicated to ensuring a quality learning experience for your child.
