My two children attended Gilbert Arts Academy; the KRP program is the best I have seen. The cost 350$ per month is worth the education they learn in Pre-K, and the three teachers know how to handle the children well. However my other child which was in Kindergarten had several problems. This school does not have enough resources to keep up with the students. I tried to offer monetary resources and volunteer my time and the school declined. I have never seen a school offer activities and programs to only favored students until my children attended Gilbert Art Academy. The principle acts very nice at enrollment and open house, but when it came to withdrawing my children, it was another story. I had a police officer checking to see if my wife was ok by the request of the principle Mrs. Nanette Allen. She also has threatened to report my child to the police for truancy even though I informed her I am homeschooling my children, and have already filed an Affidavit of Intent to School my children in the subjects of reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, & science. The principle has been harassing my family even though I informed her not to contact us unless by mail, Very disappointing.
