About the Provider

Baby Steps program provides childcare services for teen mothers that attend Passaic High School. The Mental Health Clinic of Passaic in collaboration with School Based Youth Services, The Parent Linking Project (a division of Prevent Child Abuse), and The Department of Human Services offer this unique quality program. The mission of the program states it is the responsibility of all individuals associated with Baby Steps Infant/Toddler Childcare Center to promote and maintain a professional, safe, and nurturing environment. We will ensure that our teen parents have the childcare and social service support that will help them to successfully graduate from high school as well as help them to develop into confident parents. It is our aim to provide a home-like atmosphere where our teen parents and their babies will feel secure enough to explore, learn, and grow. Everything that we do must reflect our mission, which is to help our teen parents and their babies to feel secure in a developmental environment.
