I worked there and noticed in the young toddler room the silicone wasn’t being removed from the 360 cups - I made this observation when I went to do the dishes after lunch was served. It was horrendous that the cup wasn’t cleaned properly. I felt terrible. Kids deserve better. Having kids drink from disgusting cups is a DHS violation.
The one daycare teacher in the older toddler to prek room yells a lot at the kids, she has no control over them. And has left teachers out of ratio MANY times. Directors don’t do anything about it except tell her she can’t do that. Leaving others out of ratio is a DHS violation.
PTO is “earned” if you never miss work. Regardless of the reason. So you better never want a day off, have doctors appointments, or get sick, or have kids… because you’ll never earn PTO.
And not to mention the horror stories of how some teachers there treat the little kids…
I loved the kiddos I worked with and the families, but looking back… it’s an embarrassment to have even worked for a place that wasn’t able to operate if 4 people called off, let alone the other things they’ve swept under the rug.
