I am a former employee of Pattycakes I honestly felt taken advantage of. I got fired for not apparently changing diapers. I would even change kids diapers who were dry. I was also kept being put in a room I didn't feel safe in. They do not care about there employees safety.
My two kids just started going here but already they love it. Mrs Jo is super nice along with everyone else there. I am excited to see what my children learn while there.
My children have been attending this facility for years. They take such great care of them. I couldn’t ask for a better child care provider. The overall atmosphere is very friendly and clean. The staff is great! The director is very attentive to each child’s needs and to parent concerns or questions. She truly cares about every attending child. I would highly recommend this child care center to other parents!
My 3 year old son goes here. He has sensory issues and Ms. Jo, a former RN, has been patient & loving and tends to his needs as an individual. She treats her students like her own grandchildren. Her grown daughters work there and a few of her grandkids attend. It is truly a family atmosphere.
This building isn't glitzy but if you want a clean, safe place filled with fun, learning activities and love then you will love Patty Cakes.
Ms. Jo is in business because she “cares” about children. The ratio of kids to teachers is small so kids get a lot of one on one attention. This is not a run of the mill daycare that treats kids like a number; they’re treated like family.
On my son's first day I got over 16 pictures text to me during his day to calm my jitters. I'm so glad we were referred here! It came highly recommended to me by 3 moms with children who have gone here over a year.
Best kept secret in New Albany, tucked behind Knobs Point Apartments.
Maybe I'm spoiled. But I cannot wait until another daycares waiting list opens up and I can take my children out of this place. They're NEVER wiped off. That includes the face & butt. My child has come home multiple times with dried up poop they waited so long to change him. If I had the personal time at work, I would take off work until I found another daycare just so I would never have to take them here again. It seems like they don't even vacuum. -"" rugs are ALWAYS filthy. Toys are always everywhere.
