The one experience I had with this company left me very concerned. While stopped at red light at an intersection this company's van pulled up behind me in the left turn lane. The lane I was trying to turn into had backed up all the way to the intersection (as in already partially blocking oncoming traffic)so when the left arrow turned green I waited for the lane to open up (which usually happens fairly quickly as the lights are synchronized).

Immediately, the driver of the van behind me started laying on the horn and gesturing wildly. As I was not about to dangerously strand myself in the middle of a high traffic intersection, I continued waiting for the traffic to clear. In response the van driver begins to carelessly swing the van out of the left turn lane into the through traffic lane.

Just the van is trying to roughly manuever into the other lane, the traffic blocking the intersection began to clear so I began to turn left. As soon as I pulled forward, the van driver uses the space I have just created to rush into the through lane then rapidly starts turning left from the middle (straight only) lane, cutting me off, and making me slam on the breaks to avoid a collision.

Normally, I would have fumed to myself and then gotten on with my day, but that was when I say the Kids Connection Logo on the back of the van. Being a mom myself, I was immediately very concerned about kids being transported by such an aggressive and careless driver. I also thought that their boss would definitely want to know about this type of driving so I took down the license plate number and called the Kids Connection office.

I left a brief message that I need to speak with them about a traffic incident and left my number. About an hour later, I received a return call from a woman who identified herself as the owner. I told her why I was calling and she told me that she was in fact a one person company and that she was the one who had bee driving.

She said that "you can't wait for that intersection to break". When I replied that it had only taken about 30 seconds for the traffic to clear enough to turn she simply repeated the same thing then added "and I didn't to anything wrong."

Unable to stop my self, I exclaimed that she had turned left from the middle lane and almost caused an accident while driving children to which she replied, "I had to to get around you and there weren't any kids in the car that time." She then said thank you, have a wonderful day, and hung up on me.

I found her to be very unprofessional and believe that such an aggressive and careless driver should not be trusted to safely transport children. I would be highly cautious in considering this company.
