Description:
At Kids Habitat II we believe childhood should be a pleasant, joyful experience. We are dedicated to creating an environment that develops children's individuality by encouraging their growth emotionality, physically, socially, and intellectually. We want children to have an opportunity to discover the world around them in a safe, healthy, and nurturing atmosphere. Through interaction with a wide variety of developmentally appropriate learning activities the children will be encouraged to be actively involved in the learning process.
We are a leaning center, where your child will develop interpersonal skills as well as developmental skills with guidance, care, love and attention.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I really liked this day care. I work very close to this daycare and the staff if caring and responsible. My daughter came to this daycare without social skills needed to handle situations. As soon as she started, the teacher worked to develop her coping skills such as sharing, handling emotions and how to be a good friend. My daughter is so happy when I pick her up and she is learning to read, math and Spanish. My daughter's dream is that she can take her teacher to kindergarten. I really recommend this daycare if you are looking for a place where staff care not only for the well being but for their intellectual needs.
I was skeptical at beginning of the year about sending my daughter to Kids Habitat2 just because the price was affordable. I thought it will be exactly like other day cares where children spend all day long sleeping and playing.
BELIEVE ME I was wrong, four months after my daughter stated, she could write her name,ABC, vowels, numbers, days of week, months of year, continents and some much more. This is the first time she has attended any daycare.
She has also become more independent and less shy. For all that I am so thankful to Kids Habitat2 and their staff.I especially want to thank you Ms.Marcia from the bottom of my heart for the amazing job she is doing every single day.
I really appreciate her dedication, she is very professional, caring and always ready to give feedback on how I can improve my child's performance.
Now my daughter is very excited and ready to start Kindergarten with all confidence.
I will miss Mrs. Marcia after her Graduation, and my whole family would never find enough words to Thank her.
"KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB, YOU ARE AMAZING"
Thank you to all the Teachers at Kids Habitat2 for their engagement towards our Kid's Education.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THIS CENTER IS HORRIBLE DIRECTOR AND SOME STAFF ARE VERY LAZY BARELY HAVE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR CHILDREN. MY 2 YEAR OLD HAS HAD MULTIPLE BRUISES AND BUSTED LIP NO INCIDENT REPORTS THEY EXPLAINED ITS BECAUSE HE PLAYS ROUGH!! UNEXCEPTABLE!!! THEN HE HAD A YEAST INFECTION IN HIS ANAL AREA FROM THEM NOT CHANGING HIS PULL UP. THIS CENTER IS DIRTY. I CALLED CPS AND OCE LICENCING CENTER AND REPORTED THEM. I HOPE THIS PLACE GETS SHUT DOWN, THEY CONSTANTLY CHANGE TEACHERS NOT A GOOD PLACE AT ALL AND THEY DONT DO FIELD TRIPS FOR 2 YEAR OLD THEY HAVE THEM IN THE CENTER ALL THE TIME WHICH IS UNFAIR WHEN THEY TAKE OTHER AGES ON FIELD TRIPS
This school is horrible. Not clean my kids have been getting sick from this school. They are always misplacing my kids cups and sheets even though they are labeled. Please be careful bringing your kids here. They have a hfm outbreak recently and won't admit that it's because of the unclean facility they have. Management are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. I do not know who are putting these 5 stars but if they really have been letting Thier kids attend here then they would understand what's happening.
Kids Habitat II is the best! My 2 daughters attend the Columbia MD Location and I must say that they are very accommodating and wonderful with care.
Initially I was pleased with Kids Habitat; management was accommodating and worked with any issues that came up while my child was there. However, I was very disappointed with my child’s teacher at the end. Having two kids of her own, she was allowed to have her nine year old in a class with four and five year olds. Even though this took place in before and aftercare it was very disruptive, she would allow her nine year old to tease and even hit the younger children, and management failed to have her child removed from before and aftercare. The solution was to have my child removed from the class, instead of her child. Management failed to address this situation. There were other issues, but the main issue was favoritism being showed to teacher’s kids while other kids were disciplined. If you take your child there make sure to check if the teacher’s child/children are in that class and be aware of your child being chastised by them. In a nut shell management was not assertive enough to address this issue.
Whoever gives this daycare 5 stars is a liar. Do not bring your children here. The management sucks and doesnt have proper customer service skills. They are dirty, from everything in the infant room from the mold in the 2 year old room. Every toy in that building is dirty. My child stays sick and stay telling me whats happening when the teachers should be telling me. they have a morning and evening shift but neither shift knows anything about whats happened that day. they always have new teachers, and sometimes im not even told that my child is having a new teacher. i have to hunt down everyone to find out things. a parent found mice pellets in a babys bed and cubby. this place needs to be shut down. Its not worth it, pay more to bring your child somewhere else. the teachers are young and dont have a clue what they are doing, others be giving children things that their parents didnt bring them. they loose things and blame it on you saying it wasnt properly labeled. yeah right. im gonna get proof to shut this place down, it wont be running for long. hope this was useful.
Kids Habitat is so great! When I was in need this center came to my rescue. It is affordable, loving, caring childcare center.I love this place! My child ha grew up in this center. She is advance in her school and she's always ready to come to daycare.
Thank you guys so much.
worst place to work!!! they treat you like your the HELP, and not a teacher.
they make the parent supply am&pm snack. even though they post it that's bull s*** they don't supply it they want you to. I worked at other child care and by far this is the worse. I do know child care has a big turn over that's a under statement here!!(
