Write a review about The Hoboken Children's Academy II, inc.. Let other families know what’s great, or what could be improved. Please read our brief review guidelines to make your review as helpful as possible.
The Hoboken Children's Academy left a toddler at the park, clearly endangering the life of a child. They went to the park with 12 children and came home with 11 despite having a 12 seater buggy and three teachers keeping an eye on the kids. They did not realize their error until the police called them to notify them a child was missing. The most simple thing a daycare facility can do when taking children outside is count, repeatedly, to ensure they safely take them all home and they did not.
Management seemed did not seem particularly sympathetic to parents concerns following the incident and choose to continue to employee the teachers who left the child at the park but lay off other employees for much less severe/consequential mistakes. Additionally, management has consistently been losing their best staff because of the way they treat their employees.
For the cost of daycare at this facility, as one of the most expensive in Hoboken, it is vastly underperforming.
