About the Provider

Description: Our fully accredited Montessori and holistic program addresses each child individually. Our mission give your child the best possible learning environment.

Rick and Colleen Reeker have been teaching Montessori education for the past 35 years. Having raised five children and four grandkids, we understand how children learn. Our teachers and staff are guided by the Montessori curriculum. Spirit of Hope Montessori School is a child centered environment that respects each child and their unique characteristics. We pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio. Our teachers develop age-appropriate activities that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills while making learning a life long skill.

In addition to the ‘basics’, we offer students a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including weekly music classes, art workshops, and daily yoga. We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom including geography, zoology, botany, history, and science. Each year our older students take a field trip to the Phoenix Symphony, Celebrity Theater, or other local places of interest.

We are also committed to parent education. For interested parents, we offer a number of seminars throughout the year to help you better understand and support your children’s development.
