Findings: No Noncompliances Found
2020-01-22 Complaint 13A.18.08.08A(2) Corrected
Findings: When the licensing specialist arrived there were 3 infants asleep in the back bedroom with the door closed. The provider has a video/sound monitor system but it was not displayed on the monitor. It was explained that this provision to have a video/sound monitor is not acceptable with Large Family Child Care. A staff person must remain in the room with the children or they must be relocated to the area with the other children where the staff will be.

Findings: An unannounced visit was made to the provider, there was one aide and 9 children present with 4 children under the age of 2 years. The aide said that the provider had left the home a few minutes prior and told her she was taking her son to the doctor. See remarks for further details.

2020-01-22 Complaint 13A.18.03.04C Corrected
Findings: There was no emergency card for 2 children. Please have the parents complete and sign an emergency card and send a letter of corrections to the licensing specialist within 30 days.
2020-01-22 Complaint 13A.18.03.03A(2) Corrected
Findings: The provider uses an electronic application (Brightwheel) for attendance, she is not sure if there is a report that can be printed off. She was not aware that she needed to have an attendance record and keep on file for at least 2 years. We discussed going to a paper sign in/out that parent's can verify daily, so that the regulations will be met.
