We are celebrating our success as Palomino Primary soars ahead in student achievement according to last year's test scores. The State of Arizona and the Paradise Valley Unified School District officially recognize the outstanding progress our students have made. Teachers and students are exceeding expectations, and every day at Palomino is an exciting adventure into the world of knowledge and information.

Palomino received a substantial grant from the 21st Century foundation funding both Before and After the Bell programs that support academic achievement in math and reading and provide enrichment opportunities for our students.

The fingerprint clearance cards for 4 of 4 staff members were verified to be valid through the DPS website at the time of the inspection. The following was discussed but not limited to: 1). Please submit the Plan of Corrections via the LMS portal within 10 days. **** Please email pictures of the gap on the chain link fence as soon as it has been fixed. 2 of 2 Fingerprint Clearance cards reviewed were valid via a DPS website search. The Empower self-evaluation was completed at the time of the inspection. The Emergency Disaster Plan update form was completed at the time of the inspection. The following was discussed but not limited to: 1. Defrost the freezer and clean the lid on the food waste container in Room 214. 2. Children's sign in and out sheets.
