Will NEVER use this place! The customer service woman is an absolute b*tch!! Just calling and asking for information, she gets nasty and pontificates as if this rednecked baboon is somehow superior to anyone else. This person makes the very first impression...and it couldn't have been worse.

In space #1, one child was not signed out on 823/2023. In space #3, one child was not signed out on 8/23/2023 and 8/24/2023 and six children were not signed out on 8/29/2023. In space #4, two children were not signed out on 8/24/2023, twelve children were not signed out on 8/25/2023, and one child was not signed out on 8/28/2023.

Special diet or food allergy information was not posted where they can be seen in food preparation and eating areas. In space #1, one child's special diet was not posted in the classroom where children eat.

Emergency medical care information was not on file in the center on the child's first day of attendance and/or was not updated as changes occurred or at least annually for each child. Two children enrolled on 8/23/2023, did not have an updated application on file to reflect a new allergy or chronic illness. One child's application was dated 7/11/2023 and the child's Medical Action Plan was issued on 8/22/2023. One child's application was dated 6/27/2023 and the child's Medical Action Plan was issued on 8/16/2023.

Staff did not model appropriate eating behaviors by consuming food or beverages that meet the nutritional requirements specified in the Meal Patterns for Children in Child Care Programs in the presence of children in care. In space #1, one opened can of Starbucks Double shot coffee drink was observed on a shelf above the sink accessible to children.

The Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma policy was not reviewed with new staff prior to providing care with children and/or a signed acknowledgement with all the required information was not maintained in the staff person's file. One substitute staff employed on July 7, 2023, did not have the Shaken Baby and Abusive Head Trauma policy acknowledgement on file for review.

Equipment and furnishings were not sturdy, stable and free of hazards. A broken and shattered plastic bucket and plastic sand toy was observed on playground space #1. The cover to the green turtle sand box was broken and cracked with sharp edges on playground space #2. A 3-inch screw was observed in the mulch of the fall zone area on playground space #1. Staff removed the screw and broken toys during the visit.

The outdoor premises were not clean, drained and free of litter and hazardous materials grass and other vegetation in a manner which does not encourage vermin. Standing water with live mosquito larvae was observed in the green turtle sand box on both playground space #1 and #2. Staff dumped the standing water during the visit and discarded both plastic sand boxes prior to children accessing the play area.
