Findings: Upon arrival, specialist observed infant sleeping in car seat. Provider stated that he just fell asleep and moved him to a porta crib. Provider will ensure that when an infant falls asleep in a car seat, seat, high chair or any other equipment, that the infant is immediately transferred to an approved crib or approved porta crib as outlined in the regulations. Positional Asphyxiation can result in an infant sleeping in a car seat for any period of time. When provider transferred infant to the porta crib, he was wearing a bib and had a long pacifier clip attached to his clothing. Both of these items are potentially hazardous and could cause restricted movement, strangulation and or blockage of the airways. Provider corrected at time of inspection and will monitor on an ongoing basis to ensure safety and compliance. Specialist recommends that provider take a SIDS training again to review infant safety procedures. | |||

Being a first time Mom and having to leave my 3 month newborn couldn't have been any easier with rolanda...or "nini as the kids call her. This isn't your average daycare. It's a home away from home. My daughter has learned so much this past year. She runs to the door when I drop her off, which always makes my heart smile! (She's equally as excited to see me when I pick her up). If you are looking for a loving, nurturing place for your little one...this is the place you need!
