Description: Building Surfaces

Noncompliance Area: On the front porch outdoor play space, there were multiple screws protruding out on the inside of the wooden fence/railing in multiple areas that had sharp edges and were a visible hazard. On the wooden fence/railing, there was one area with splintering wood with sharp edges.

Correction Required: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards.

The screws were removed and reinstalled so that the screws were no longer protruding out. The area of splintering wood was covered and will be sanded down to remove the sharp edges.
