Forge ELC always schedules staff accordingly to maintain staff:child ratios, both similar age and mixed age level. When staff call off or arrive late to a shift Forge ELC will utilize the Director to cover the shift of the Staff Person that is out or late. Additional staff will be called to arrive early if needed. In addition, if parents arrive earlier than their normal drop off time, provider may ask them to stay until the next scheduled staff person arrives.
