Description: The Common Core is a rigorous set of standards for the English Language Arts and Mathematics curriculum which has been developed based on the best practices of schools and organizations around the country and the world. Parents should expect to see students engaged in building their analytical thinking skills and applying what they have learned rather than simply memorozing information. More 21st-century skills will be integrated and the rigor of work will require additional student perseverance and cooperation.
With every new school year comes new students, new families and changes in staff. However, one goal remains consistent and won't change: our committment to work hard. Working together, our school and our community can and will make this a wonderful year for learning.
