Ronda is rude & pathetic , u don’t have any knowledge of how your kids day went or what they ate , no notes sent home ..they have the kids playing outside with no water or juice to stay hydrated in extreme heat , I went to pick my child up one day and saw him drinking out Ms Ronda’s daughters cup while her back was turned on her phone .. they don’t keep the kids noses wiped not one time I picked my kid up had his nose been clean.. the box on the hill is what it should be called .. I wouldn’t send these uneducated trailer trash folks my dog to sit ????
Wish I could give 0 stars!! I have worked here and I would NEVER send my child here ever!! They are teriable and treat the children very badly!! Even grabbing and pulling on children,!!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. In late June I called this place and they said they had an opening for my son for beginning of August. August 3rd. I would just need to come up there and pay the $75 holding fee and fill out application. Immediately I left my house with my check book in hand and went there. She said there were 3 spots open. When I got there I spoke to Angel who gave me her number and said there was no need to pay the 75$ that day since he wouldn’t be staring until August 3rd. I even asked her that if any body else tried to get in before that if she would call me and she said yes, that we were at the top. She told me to call her back July 16th. So I did. I even texted her. I never heard back until today. She said that they tried to move things around but couldn’t make it work and that there would be an Opening at the end of August. She told me that she said they couldn’t hold his spot for longer than a month and she said that she had told me that when I saw her at the end of June. SHE IS LYING. Now, because of her, I am having to scramble to find childcare for my son. When I left from seeing her at the end of June, I left with the understanding that we would have a spot for my son. I thought she was just being nice with not making me pay the holding fee yet. I should have known better! She was also extremely rude over the phone and was not understanding of why I was upset at all. Very unprofessional! I know they will probably respond to this and say I’m in the wrong. Believe what you want but I’m telling the truth!
This is a very nice daycare. I appreciate that it is cozy, not too many kids, and fun loving. Everyone on staff is very sweet and takes good care of my most important person (son). He came in at 1 year old, and it was difficult for me to drop him off. The ladies there were all so kind, and let me take my time with everything.
After an initial period of difficulty and crying, he is now very excited to get into play at the daycare. This shows me that while I am not there he is having fun and being well taken care of. I like how easygoing and non pretentious it is. Curtain Climbers will take your kid outside, make sure they nap well, and encourage growth and learning. Also, they are inexpensive, and I really appreciate/need that. Clean, safe, happy children is what we all want for the babies!
If you want your child safe I would not send them to this daycare.. Rhonda & Angel (her daughter) are very rude & are not nice to the students or to the workers they treat everyone very bad.. Rhonda is very two faced, she helped one of her workers get a phone & when that worker put in her two week notice she took the phone back which wasn’t the problem but the problem was that she went through the whole phone & instead of her letting the worker work out her two weeks she told that worker to get her son & get off her property along with another worker that did not do anything wrong. This daycare needs to be shut before something bad happens to one of the kids.. Rhonda & Angel don’t really care about anything or anybody but themselves they barely care about the kids they have at the daycare.. They lie & say the kids are sick when in reality they aren’t they just don’t want to watch them… Why open a daycare if your not going to take proper care of the kids & Why hire people if your just going to treat them like butt ? y’all make absolutely no sense !!! I do not recommend sending your kids or working at this facility… They will put so many babies on one worker at a time & that is against the law… state needs to be called out asap for all the problems they have & they also need to drug test all the workers including Rhonda & Angel… they even run their mouth about kids that’s kinda pathetic don’t you think ?
I am so happy with the care that my child receives at Curtain Climbers Too! The teachers are very loving and the daycare is always clean. My child looks forward to going to school every morning and you cant get that from most daycares. :)
Ive never had a job that I love more than Curtain climbers too, the staff is AMAZING!
I love this daycare. We are all a family here and treat the kids like our own. It’s the best feeling getting to see these kiddos hit milestones they have worked so hard for! I love my job and everyone who is connected to it! ????
Sad place , can’t work with kids complain about anything little and love to send kids home and lie and say they have a fever but don’t . And the director is a very rude person and should learn how to speak to parents like a normal person . Very unprofessional place and will be looking for a new daycare ASAP . Would not recommend to even bring your dog there
We couldn’t be happier with our choice for our son to go here. He is 3 months old and it’s hard to leave your baby that little with anyone! The teachers in the infant room are phenomenal. They have helped me with the transition and have put up with my lunch break visits! Every time we’ve stopped in our son has been happy, fed, clean and smiling! Not to mention if you are paying out of pocket they have one of the best rates around. We are so thankful we found loving teachers here!
If I could give this place a 0 I would, I tried calling to speak with the owner about getting my 1 and 2 year old a spot. (Not that I want it now) every time I called the owner nor co-owner we’re never there. I finally decided to start looking else where. But from what I’ve heard this isn’t a place I would want my kids. The reviews about the owner being really rude and state has had several calls on them as to my knowledge. My kids will not be attending this daycare and I will make my mom friends aware as well.
After turning in a 2 week notice to this daycare I worked a few hours and then was asked to leave. After being asked to leave I asked about pay in which the owner decided to she was going to deduct pay from a group bonding trip she told me she would pay me for (and already did) and now that I have told her over and over she cannot withhold my pay after talking to a lady at the NC Department of Labor she processed to tell me to not “Harrass” her and that she doesn’t recall a lake trip. A trip in which we have multiple messages about, pictures from etc. I would not recommend ever working for Rhonda Corn. She’s great until you upset her then she turns into a very rude/spiteful person!
The people working at this facility are obviosly not trained properly in handling small children. They constantly complain about any and every possible thing they can. I would give a zero star. I will make sure every mother and family I know not to even think about taking their child here. Disgrace!!!!!!!
