Our family has been utilizing the services of Clubhouse Kids since our child enrolled at Frederick Classical Charter School in the fall of 2013.
To say that we have been pleased by the care that the staff provide for our daughter and for all of the children at the after-school program is an understatement. The service provided by Clubhouse Kids is not a mere "childcare" service but, in my opinion, serves as an extension of the school itself.
Clubhouse Kids has a robust, structured program that allows the children to interact with each other via clubs (i.e. Caring Club, Walking Club, Food Club, etc.), supervised activities and educational games. Students who don’t usually get to interact during the school day are able to make new friendships across grade levels which has made my daughter more socially confident.
The program also allows for quiet homework and study time which is a wonderful way for students to finish some (if not all) of their classroom assignments on a daily basis. The students also know that they can call on Clubhouse Kids staff for guidance without hesitation. Student success is valued.
As a parent, I feel comfortable and welcome in my interactions with all Clubhouse Kids staff members. Parents are also kept informed via a regularly distributed newsletter and in daily conversation with the caregivers on duty which is very much appreciated.
If I have a question, concern or need to make an adjustment to my child's usual schedule, the staff have always been positive and accommodating. I feel fortunate that my child is being cared for in the. thoughtful, nurturing environment that Clubhouse Kids provides.
My daughter attends school at the Frederick Classical Charter School, where the first Clubhouse Kids location opened almost 4 years ago. From the first day, my daughter has loved going to Clubhouse Kids and loves the staff like her own family. They provide many activities daily for the kids, as well as a dedicated Homework Time with staff assistance.
This summer were also had the need to send her to Clubhouse Kids for their summer camp program. Wow! They even have an awesome summer camp! We feel truly lucky and blessed to have Clubhouse Kids available to us!
