Description: SPRING RIDGE ELEMENTARY enjoys a rich history and heritage. Before the tremendous growth of Frederick’s outlying areas, Spring Ridge teachers and students celebrated many years of education at East Frederick Elementary. The development of land east of the Monocacy River and near Interstate 70 brought with it the need for new schools, and from this need Spring Ridge was built.
We are proud of our teachers, students and accomplishments as a school. Our school motto, “Doing our best every day and every way,” is the basis for our belief that each child is unique in ability and learning styles. We make every effort to adjust learning activities to the style and speed that best meet each child’s need.
Parents are actively involved with volunteering, parent workshops and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) activities. From the monthly celebration of our school spirit days to the student-led Math-a-thon, food drives, and leukemia fund-raiser, Spring Ridge is all about team pride and taking responsibility. Students, staff and parents have learned that we can accomplish a great deal for others, as well as ourselves, when we work together.
We look forward to collaborating each day as we participate in cultural arts programs, community service projects, academic and social endeavors, and many other exciting opportunities for our students and their families.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
