Description: Refrigerator

Noncompliance Area: On April 21, 2026, during the renewal inspection, the refrigerator was not working, did not have any power.

Correction Required: A facility shall have an operable, clean refrigerator used to store potentially hazardous foods. The refrigerator shall be capable of maintaining food at 45° F or below. An operating thermometer shall be placed in the refrigerator.

Description: Locked or inaccessible

Noncompliance Area: On April 21, 2026, during the renewal inspection, hand sanitizer was in reach of and accessible to children, on a low shelf at the back of the preschool classroom childcare space.

Correction Required: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children.

Description: Building Surfaces

Noncompliance Area: On April 21, 2026, during the renewal inspection, the ceiling tile over the sink area, in the infant room childcare space was cracked across the tile.

Correction Required: Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces, including the facility's outdoor play space surfaces shall be kept clean, in good repair and free from visible hazards.

Description: Stairs, exits, etc. unobstructed

Noncompliance Area: On April 21, 2026, during the renewal inspection, the exit door to the outside yard in the back of the childcare facility, was blocked by two red vacuum cleaners, and a blue ladder.

Correction Required: Stairways, hallways, exits from rooms, exits from the facility and other means of egress serving as an exit shall be unobstructed.

Description: Health and Safety Training

Noncompliance Area: On November 25, 2025, during the initial inspection, the file reviewed for Staff person #1 did not contain the required Health and Safety preservice training within 90 days of their date of hire (see code sheet):

Correction Required: Until such time as the required training has been completed, staff person # 1 must be supervised, when interacting with children at a minimum by, an Assistant Group Supervisor who has completed all preservice trainings and has all qualifications to care for children unsupervised. If there are no staff person(s) available to supervise staff person #1, staff person #1may not work in a child-care position at the facility.

Noncompliance Area: On November 25, 2025, during the initial inspection, the file reviewed for staff person #1 did not contain a PA Criminal State Police Clearance. (see code sheet for hire date)

Correction Required: The operator shall comply with the CPSL and with Chapter 3490 (relating to protective services). LACKING REQUIRED HIRING DOCUMENTS: Facility Person #1 may not work in a childcare position at the facility. A facility person's record shall include a copy of requests for the criminal history record and child abuse registry clearance information, a copy of the disclosure statement and a copy of the completed clearance information required under the CPSL. Description: Protective Outlet Covers 5 yrs. or less

Noncompliance Area: On November 25, 2025, during the renewal inspection, the outlets on the short wall in the infant childcare space, and the outlets on the back wall in the playroom childcare space did not have a protective cover.

Correction Required: Protective receptacle covers shall be placed in electrical outlets accessible to children 5 years of age or younger.
