I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We attended for 2 years. The first year went well. The second year, the center struggled to keep staff (continues to struggle) and we had a serious incident that the state was involved. This incident led administration to suggest we remove our kids. When I paid for the last week and informed them it will be the last week, I was met with “that’s probably best” and hung up on. The following week I returned for a left item and was told I owed for 2 weeks since I didn’t properly remove my children. I said that was not mentioned to me when I informed them (same lady) I was removing my children due to a serious incident. The lady said “what incident we don’t have any evidence and this was all your decision”. The created a hostile environment for my children their final week. They do not take responsibility at this center and find ways to blame the child. Example: My child had a bathroom incident because her teacher couldn’t take her to the bathroom located outside the rooms. Administration told my child she was lying and there is always someone to take her. I know this isn’t true as my child became so impacted over 6 months it required medical intervention. I do not trust this place since the previous director left.

About the Provider

At Teachable Moments Child Development Center, our mission is to Learn with Play, to enrich the development of children from young age while focusing on education. We believe children begin to learn and absorb even as infants. We start with colors and shapes and progresses to numbers and alphabets, then introduce language and mathematical concepts along with computers at a later age, while playing games. Our goal is to prepare every child for school in a loving and nurturing manner, with safety in mind. Our teachers delight in talking to each child about his or her feelings and comfort them. They take pride in taking care of our little ones and make it their business to learn about their individual needs. Our front desk staff and Director provide that extra touch of comfort and guidance to parents as they walk through our doors.
